ServiceNow is renowned for digitizing workflows, converting the typical business processes into friendly digital workflows that make work much easier and enjoyable. The company’s subscription revenue for financial year 2022 nearly reached USD 7 billion, with 98% renewal rate. Businesses of all sizes across various industries are aggressively using ServiceNow to automate and manage workflows across areas such as IT, human resources, and customer service departments. Amazingly, 85% of Fortune 500 companies are ServiceNow customers. In 2023, Gartner named ServiceNow a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Low‑Code Application Platforms.

Due to the exceptional benefits of ServiceNow, the demand for ServiceNow solutions has grown tremendously to the point of even seemingly putting pressure on the current partners. ServiceNow Partnership Levels

ServiceNow ranks its partners across 5 core partnership levels, as follows:

1. Registered partner

This is the most basic level. You identify as a registered partner when you join ServiceNow after meeting the basic requirements and pledging to reach the set success benchmarks. At this level, it is assumed that there is no measurable activity to prove your expertise within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

2. Specialist partner

You move from registered to specialist partner upon showcasing deep expertise in a particular product line (specialization) within the Now practice.

3. Premier partner

To become a premier partner, you must demonstrate a well-established Now practice across at least five product lines of service in different regions.

4. Elite partner

To earn admission into the elite level, you need to present a highly advanced Now practice track record in over five product lines such as IT, customer service, and more. These should be demonstrated across various geographical locations.

5. Global Elite partner

Global Elite Partner represents the pinnacle of exemplary Now practice, showcasing deep expertise across diverse domains. Partners at this level possess an extensive wealth of proven experience, exceptional digital transformation capabilities, a significant global presence, and unwavering executive commitment to the Now practice.

The above ServiceNow partnership levels are determined by ServiceNow by evaluating potential partners using the 4Cs criteria:

  • Customer success: Are your customers satisfied? What level of satisfaction do they demonstrate? Furthermore, is there any supporting documentation, such as reviews or testimonials, available to substantiate their satisfaction?
  • Competency: What certifications do you have to validate your expertise in the chosen product line? Any recognitions or rewards?
  • Capability: Are you continuously providing value to your clients through varied product lines, workflows and geographical locations?
  • Committed capacity: Are you scaling your expertise as you gain more experience? How’s your team growing and dissipating value through creative digital transformation?

Partner type: Next Gen Authorized Training, Public Sector, Sales, Services

Customer satisfaction: 4.0/5

Intact distinguishes itself by using a unique subscription based service delivery model that combines the implementation and follow-on managed service into one fully inclusive monthly subscription.

The implementation part focuses on providing leadership to the customer to conform business processes to 'out of the box' ServiceNow functionality and best practices to quickly stand up and get running. This delivers a 'like for like' implementation with no technical debt and a non-customized environment that is easy to upgrade (included annually as part of the subscription) and enhanced over time (using a points-based catalog of fixed price enhancements). This is a truly unique model, and one of its kind- the only IT consulting model that is fully aligned with the customer that enables true long term modernization.

Just recently, Intact completed the ServiceNow migration at the IRS using their unique model, standing up the full implementation within 12 months. The implementation has reduced the IRS'  technical debt from 47% to less than 1%.

Intact was founded in 1994, a true testament of its strong commitment to this industry. The company serves some of the world's largest companies (Fortune 1000) as well as federal agencies.

  • 2022/2021/2020 Global Partner

Accenture has solidified its brand within the global IT sector, which naturally explains its prestigious standing as a top-ranked ServiceNow Partner. It is among the small group of partners who have attained Global Elite status — the highest designation within the ServiceNow partnership framework.

The company boasts an impressive portfolio of ServiceNow capabilities, featuring an extensive count of over 23,000 ServiceNow Certifications and a dedicated workforce of over 18,000 highly adept professionals well-versed in ServiceNow products. This remarkable proficiency serves as a priceless resource that any business would be truly fortunate to align with.

Accenture itself uses the ServiceNow platform for its vast needs across IT service management (ITSM).

Latest moves: Accenture is constantly making strategic moves in the ServiceNow ecosystem. For example in 2020, they acquired Organize Cloud Labs, then an Elite level partner based in Brazil. Earlier in 2017 and 1016, they had acquired Focus Group Europe and Nashco Consulting respectively. These are just a few examples.

Latest changes to the ServiceNow partner program: Starting March 2023

On 17th January 2023, ServiceNow announced it was revamping the Partners program with the goal of recognizing and rewarding partners for their «varied expertise and experience»

Major points from the changes:

  1. Flexibility: Ability for partners to choose service types based on their strengths.
  2. Incentives: All partners will have access to the Partner Development Fund that will support joint marketing and awareness campaigns with ServiceNow.
  3. Enhanced partner portal and finder: Filters for region, industry, and domain expertise, making it easier for customers to quickly find the partner best suited to their needs.

These changes officially take effect from March 2023.

Conclusion

ServiceNow is winning the market thanks to its power of consolidation. The ability to streamline a large variety of processes into a modern workflow experience drastically reduces clutter and saves costs.

Businesses find this much more beneficial than using multiple vendors for different tasks, which can lead to data sharing issues, operational complexity, unpredictable risks and blame games when things go wrong.

Given the current rush among businesses to digitize or consolidate their systems, we're likely to see more mergers and acquisitions in this space — all aimed at capitalizing on the rising demand for ServiceNow solutions. Europe is particularly experiencing huge demand for ServiceNow products as companies in this market begin to recognize the importance of moving their businesses online. This has accelerated the demand for cloud solutions that power remote work.

Unsure how truly accurate this list is as you have some companies with latest awards in 2022, but they're further down the list from other organizations who have no awards and frankly no other information listed here (certifications, consultant strength, etc.). It's also unclear how you're verifying those numbers other than looking at the partner finder on ServiceNow. More transparency into these rankings would help build credibility for the list.

I see inMorphis missing, which is the 2022 ServiceNow Emerging APJ partner award winner and twice (two quarters) a prospecting award winner in APJ for 2022. There might be other companies as well. It seems the list is not exhaustive.

No disrespect to Microland, but they seem very out of place on this list. Their ServiceNow focus and capability is tiny compared to everyone else listed.

Advance Solutions should be added to the list, as they are reputed servicenow elite partners.

What is the rationale for Accenture's exclusion from this list? They contribute more revenue to ServiceNow than any other partner BY FAR, have the most skilled NOW resources and with the exception of last year, consistently win the Global Partner of the Year. Excluding Accenture from this list makes me question everything else in your analysis.

Genpact should be on this list. Genpact is an Elite Partner, and has been making significant strides over the last few years in ServiceNow, particularly in non-IT domains, such as, Source to Pay, Risk, Financial Services, and Healthcare and Life Sciences. Just to give an example, Genpact and ServiceNow just announced an expanded partnership in Source to Pay across Finance and Supply Chain Operation.
